Seller's shipping lead time on Jumia

• Dropshipping (DS): The parcel should arrive at the sorting center and successtully change to the 'shipped' status within 5 working days at the latest (Shipped = the order is successfully scanned by the warehouse and synchronized to the seller center/vendor center). The delivery time will be scored based on the order shipping time (pending to shipped). The scoring criteria are shown in the table below. The longer the time, the lower the delivery time score. If the order is not updated to the 'shipped' status and is automatically cancelled after 5 working days, the delivery time score will be zero.
• Fulfillment by Jumia (FBJ): 24 - 48 hours, different countries have slightly different time limit settings for different cities. FBJ orders are handled by the local team of Jumia. Sellers do not need to take action.

Precautions on shipping lead time of DS

• Weekend and statutory holidays in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and some non-Chinese areas are not included in the seller's shipping lead time.
• If the package cannot be shipped on time for objective reasons, the seller can ask for an extension of the shipping lead time by RAC - Raise a Claim (relevant evidence is required).
• If an order is shipped beyond the time limit, it will be automatically canceled by the system. In this case, the seller must contact the sorting center in China to retrieve the goods (refer to "Handling abnormal DS goods" for relevant RTV procedures).
