Jumia's Seller Center 1.0 supports both single and bulk uploading of SKUs. Single uploading mode is applicable to sellers with less than 100 products (SKUs less than 100). Sellers can create new products in the product management interface. According to the system prompt, sellers can fill in the information of SKUs one by one and then submit it to complete the product creation. If there are too many SKUs to be uploaded. It is recommended that the seller download the template and upload the finished offline form to the system. The operations for batch SKU creation are as follows.

If all the templates in the background of the Seller Center are opened directly with EXCEL, multiple cells may be merged, and column splitting is required. The Seller is recommended to download "Open Office" (click here to download). After "Open Office" is downloaded and installed, the downloaded files can be opened with "Open Office" for automatic column splitting.

You have to choose the correct category for batch upload, so it is recommended that you download the "Category Tree" before uploading SKUs in batch for the first time, and then search for the appropriate category in "Product Creation by category".
The specific operations are as follows:
Step 1 Click "Download Category Tree" to download the category form
Step 2 Open the form to find the accurate SKU category
For example: If your product is a women's skirt, you should pull down the category tree to find "Fashion", then go to "Women's Fashion"......and finally to "Skirt".
Now, return to Product creation by category, and click "Control + F" to search Skirt.
Tips: There are different category templates for you to download when you choose batch upload. It is recommended that you download the category tree first, then find the category of your product, and return to the seller center. You can find the corresponding category by searching for the keywords in the browser.

Tips: If you are listing SKUs in an FBJ shop at the site in Côte d'Ivoire, the product title must be in French. If you use an English title, Jumia can offer a translation service, with a charge rate of 1000FCFA/SKU.
Primary Category: required, fill in category code Find the Category ID in the "Categories" form and select the most detailed category through the pull-down menu. As shown in the figure below, the category code is "1024587".
Remarks:
(1) If you want to register an official shop
When applying for registration on Jumia, if your shop is named XXX Official store (official shop), the data review staff will take the initiative to contact you by email and request you to provide the corresponding brand authorization. Once the shop is registered, the seller is not allowed to change the shop name.
(2) If you want to list branded products:
Special tips:If your product contains a variety of colors, please use the most representative color or the widest coverage color of the product in the description. Do not use words like "multi-color" to describe the color. Otherwise, it may cause the failure of the online review of the product content.
Note: the date format is year-month-day, e.g. 2000-05-21; you need to set the format of these two cells as "text".
The product name is not generated by the system. It can be decided by the seller according to its naming custom, without any restriction on its format.
It will be displayed in the SKU column of the product management section in the Seller Center:
Case 1: The product has size variations but has only one color
If the variations of a T-shirt range from XS to XL, and if the T-shirt has only one color - blue, as shown above, you should fill in the following information when uploading the product in batch:

The short major highlights are better organized, making it easier for consumers to understand the key features of the product. The product description section of the Seller Center can serve as an HTML viewer, which can directly generate item numbers of highlights. Follow the steps below to easily list the highlights of your product.
Step 1: Enter Seller Center V1.0 (SC) and select "Create A New Product "; input or paste highlights of the product and select them in the "Highlights" section.
Path: Seller Center>>Products>>Creat A New Product>>More product Details>>Product Description
Step 2: On the function bar above, click "Insert item numbers" to list the short major highlights of the product in sequence.
Step 3: Select all the short descriptions that have been listed as short major highlights; click "HTML" icon on the far left of the function bar above the "Highlight" to convert the short descriptions into HTML format.
How to upload the images with the format of URL?
Login to the standard image conversion tool, upload the images to the tool, select "Convert image into URL, and paste the converted URL links in the table.
After the above steps are completed, the form needs to be saved as csv, .xlsx or .xls format for uploading.
In case of form content errors, how to check and modify the errors?
